OK, who's gone through it, or knows a lot about it? I'm ready for a serious change and figure getting a dozen or so pounds sucked out of me would be quite beneficial. I'm mostly trying to figure out how much it costs and how long I'll be out of commission.

Go do it in Costa Rica or Colombia. Both have great Doctors. Colombia it costs about $3000 usd from what I can tell.

I have not done it but it looks painful.

I just did it at Yanhee hospital in Bangkok a month ago. The results are fantastic. It didn't hurt nearly as bad as I thought. Not painless by any means but no big deal as far as pain goes. I paid $3000 for beer gut, spare tire around the sides, back, and chest. It was $1000 per "area" and they counted that as 3 areas. The same would have been about $7-8000 in the US.

I was hospitalized for 3 nights and the nurses at the hospital were fantastic. I had a hooker staying with me in my hospital room the whole time. Only BJ's then. At one point my dick swelled up and turned black (bruising). No one had told me this was a possible side effect of lipo but apparently it is. I suspect post lipo BJ's were not helpful either. I panicked and pushed the nurses call button and had about 4 nurses and the doctor standing around my bed looking at my swollen, discolored dick. The doctor chuckled and said it was not an uncommon side effect, it was no big deal and would go away shortly. It un-swelled after a day but took over a week for the bruising to go away.. For the remaining 4 days in Bangkok I spent some time laid up in a 5* hotel but was actually pretty mobile and made it out barhopping quite a bit the last 3 days. The Bangkok heat was a bigger problem than pain and tended to sap my endurance allot more than the heat normally does.

I say do it. I'm happy as hell with the results already and I'm not even totally healed yet.

How much weight did you lose? Or isn't that how they measure? Did you look into LipoSelection? That seems to be the newest thing here in Scottsdale - ads everywhere.

I'd be all for doing it elsewhere except for the fact that I have to tag on an expensive flight and hotel stay (not to mention feeling like a kid locked outside the candy shop if I went to Bangkok).

Don't let only the $5000 difference in the price tag scare you.

Lipo in the USA (at least in California) will cost you $10 to $20,000.

So its much cheaper in BKK. Also I saw a special on 60 minutes about a hospital in BKK where most if not all of the doctors are trained in the US and are licensed to practice in the US.

So it would be very safe I think.
