How Many Days in a Row is it Safe to take Vitamin V?

ClubHombre.com: -Men's Health-: How Many Days in a Row is it Safe to take Vitamin V?

After splitting up with my "Not tonight, I have a headache wife"; I found a great new girlfriend who likes to have lots of sex. We only get to spend alternate weeks with each other, so we usually have sex every night we are together.

I'm in my mid 60s and need 100mg of Viagra to get the job done. I was getting moderate headaches on the 4th and subsequent nights in a row of taking the pill, so we altered our routine and substituted one night of oral sex for both of us in the middle of the week, which I can do fine without using the Viagra.

Now I only get occasional mild headaches from the pill. My doctor said she thought taking it 6 times a week, every other week was probably okay, but she didn't sound 100% sure.

Anyone know about frequency of use data from the manufacturer or other studies. I'm also using 5mg tubes of androgel every day, 30 days a month to keep my testosterone levels up, if that makes any difference.

If this new girlfriend keeps up her level of interest, my mongering days may be over.

Thanks amigos,
ECJ

Why not use Cialis one day, and Viagra every other day and try that combination for enhanced results, just a thought. Perhaps cut the V in half [50] and supplement with the C [20mg for a two day boost]

I've seen ads for the new low-dosage "everyday" Cialis, you may want to give that a try.

I've used 100 mg of Viagra daily for 3-4 weeks at a stretch, no problems. Never heard of any problems associated with frequency of use.

You could try getting some C into the rotation to mix things up. The headaches are probably just one of the standard side effects some people get. I don't take Levitra, as it gives me headaches, etc. But V and C I don't feel a thing.

I don't know the medical answer but always assumed that if it's OK for you in the first place it's OK to use the maximum dosage daily. Otherwise it seems that prescriptions would come with a warning to moderate use or avoid chronic use, and they don't.

If I'm going to be in action day after day I will use Cialis 20mg and supplement with 50 mgs of V or the equivalent of Levitra on the second day - just mental insurance. Then back to Cialis on day 3 and so on. I would use only Cialis (the daily product mentioned by Catacony) if my insurance formulary provided Cialis - but it is Levitra I get for nothing with prescription. But for those extra busy weeks, I will get my hands on Cialis.

I've tried Viagra, Levitra and Cialis all at different times. I have the besat results with Viagra with the Levitra not far behind. For some reason the Cialis doesn't do a damn thing. I've tried both the old 36 hour pills and the new low dose stuff. My doc was mystified as to the reason.

Taking a 50mg dosage of V works okay on the first night we get together after being apart for a week. After that it takes 100mg to get decent wood.

Just was a study done looking for visual problems with viagra given the scattered reports of "blindness". I believe the volunteers took 100 mg viagra a day for 6 months with weekly exams by opthamologists. Good news was no visual problems and no other increased side effects from extended use.

There are a number of ongoing legitimate studies of daily use of Viagra for a variety of cardiovascular benefits.

Pfizer is trying to get daily use FDA approved not only as "not bad", but actually therapeutically beneficial to the health of certain diabetics, and other cardiovascular disease patients. So therefore it is desirable on an "it's good for you" basis alone.

Khun_more said, "Good news was no visual problems and no other increased side effects from extended use."

Was this supposed to be a pun?

I'll bet it wasn't difficult to find volunteers for that study...

Good discussion here. Is there any MD on this board? Does anyone know if asthma is one of the side effects of using C, L, or V? I never had asthma in my life but now it accompanies me to almost every single mongering trip. The first time I got asthma was in Bogota a few years ago and it started after I had taken 100mg of Viagra. I always had the typical side effects of Viagra such as running nose, etc. but not asthma. I stopped using Viagra and started on Cialis but had the same result and had another episode of asthma. I had the same experience with Levitra. I no longer use any of these but still get frequent asthma on mongering trips. I was never a smoker and had no problem with second hand smoke. I am very sensitive to smoke now as I understand it smoke is one of the triggers that can trigger an asthma episode. I wonder if anyone else on this board has the same experience.

There are a couple of docs on this board. Never heard of Asthma being linked to these vitamins. Not quite sure how they would impact the bronchial system.

Have you thought about air pollution as being a causal factor? Many of the cities in Asia will eventually get to me pretty bad, due to the air, which can trigger allergy like reactions.
