Some of the newer generation of viruses are able to invade the address books of infected users and send emails that appear to be sent by people in the address book. For example, if "John" is infected with the Klez virus and has "Mike" and you in his address book, you may receive a virus message from John, but the email will say it's from Mike! Sometimes they may borrow subject lines from other emails to make them appear legitimate. If you open the attachment, you will likely be infected. If your browser or email client software is out of date, you may even be infected without opening it!
