A: Posts very rarely "disappear", when this does happen, it's usually because the posting process wasn't completed. After typing your username/password and clicking "Preview/Post Message", it's important that you click "Post this Message" on the next page. If you exit this page by clicking on another link, the message DOES NOT get posted.
Another possibility, albeit less likely, is an improper setting for "Temporary Internet Files" in Internet Explorer. Your browser should be set to check for new versions of stored pages "Automatically". If set to "Never", then you might not see new posts until a future login.
