FAQ: Troubleshooting Questions

Q: WHY DID I RECEIVE A SECURITY MISMATCH MESSAGE OR SECURITY KEY/ADDRESS UPDATE E-MAIL?

A: ClubHombre uses custom developed security to notify our users and administrators when there has been a possible security breach. If you always login from the same computer, you are unlikely to receive this message. If you login from different computers and try to access our photo galleries, you may be prompted to provide your email address to confirm your identity. If you confirm your e-mail correctly, you will be granted instant access to the galleries and a notification email that your key has been updated.

If you receive a key update email and you do not think you had updated your key at the time of the e-mail, please send a message to the address at the bottom of this page with your username and a request to research your login records. This procedure is both for our photographers' security and your benefit as having your username, password, and e-mail address compromised may indicate a security breach on your HOME or WORK computer.

You will also receive an e-mail address update e-mail if it is updated on the ClubHombre.com website. This provides us both with additional security as described above.

Note: If you regularly login from a work and home computer, we may be able to greatly reduce the frequency of the mismatch/update messages. Submit a Support Request with your username and a description of your situation and we'll see what we can to.
