Wallstreet,

Sorry to hear about your mother. My mom passed away about a month ago and I still miss her and probably always will.

I have a buddy who was in Tijuana on the weekend of the big fire in San Diego and I knew where and with whom he was staying. I saw on the news that his neigborhood was evacuated so I went down to TJ and informed him about the problem. He had no idea what was going on.

When I go to Tijuana I always tell someone where I am going, and if I know who or where specifically I am going to be, I always give very specific information. In fact I try to let at least two friends know what is going on that day.

I know for sure one of these people would be contacted if I was missing or if an emergency came up at home.
