Da and I watched the Miss World Thailand contest while I was there. There were many hotties who were not selected. Da could not believe even the top ten finalists. They were mostly second rate in terms of looks. I told her she was better looking than 95% of the contestants and I meant it !!
Methinks like many other things in LOS it is about politics and who you know. Not about qualifications.
