I would carefully review Godfather's very sage advice in his answers to you questions. 1. I was lucky. I had the bucks and married into a well-to-do Colombian family. 2. Remember, for most, living outside the USA is camping out. 3. You had better know the language, customs and culture WELL 4. Keep your dollars, pesos, reals, colones, etc.in an American bank in the USA. Arrange to draft on a monthly basis to a local bank. 5. Do I regret the move-NO! (But I do miss those Gator games.) Make your decision and stick to it. The saddest words in the English language are, "If I only had."
