Good beach / monger destination in July, August?

Where would you recommend as a good monger / sunny beach vacation in July or August? I want to start planning early. The likely and best destinations (Rio de Janeiro, Thailand, Phillipines, Dominican Republic, Colombia) all seem to be having their rainy, overcast seasons at that time. There must be somewhere else with a sunny beach. Thanks for your help!
