Cat did not put enough emphasis on the quality of the Terma experience in Rio. IMHO easily the pinnacle of the Monger's world. English will get you by very well in Copacabana District. In the top end Termas that we are talking about I would venture to say that during peak hours 60% of the people in the place (customers, girls, the help) have conversational Portugese where as 90% have conversatonal English.
