There are any number of street chicas that are there because they are beholden to someone for one thing or another, be it family debts, drug problems, mean pimps, whatever. Unfortunately it does happen. Also, re: ID... Fake ID's are a much desired thing for almost anyone working in the Zona, and they are quite prevalent. Re: walking around without ID, it happens a lot more than you might think. As much as you would like to hope people there play by the rules, a helluva lot of people DON'T.
