HM, Although I've yet to be hit up for a bribe myself, I would, in spirit, subscribe to your way of handling things...Don't give'em bribe money. As you state: "It's bad for you, bad for Tijuana, and bad for Mexico." Every case I've read on these boards where a cop was soliciting or implying a solicitation for a bribe has resulted in the cop letting the guy go if he refused to bow to the pressure. KRICO
