The biggest problem concerning my mugging was being complacent. The one thing for sure is, my methods will change. I felt I was too aware, too good, too much in shape, too lucky, etc. to ever be mugged. It was only others who had bad things happen to them, not me. Nothing ever bad happens to me. HA, reality hit me. I set myself up for a fall. TJ is fun and an addiction. Most addicts think the worse is never going to happen to them. From now on I will be a mean, lean, fighting machine. It is a combat area, so the worse is to be expected. I will be taking all the precautions now. Even if I am mugged I will lose very little. I will be using all the ideas given on the forums (stuff in the shoes, etc.). I will also not be wearing my glasses anymore. I don't need them when I am banging at girl. The muggers took them from me for some reason. Maybe they are valuable in TJ. I had to spend $200 for an examination, frames, and lenses. That will not happen again. If I wear glasses they will be my old spare ones. I will not be so stupid as to take a credit card. I plan on still hiding an ATM card on my body somewhere. It can come in handy if you are picked up by the cops and have to come up with money to prevent going to jail. The cops who picked me up recently said I could use an ATM machine to pay the "fine" to them. Isn't modern technology great? HAHAHA Having an ATM card or money taped to your body will give you some money to get out of town. Don't forget to have a spare vehicle key hidden on you or on your vehicle. It is a big problem not to have keys after being mugged. I now realize La Zona is not like a shopping mall in the US. You can not just stroll around not paying attention. It is a war zone that requires your full attention and the implementation of all precautions. If you are a target then it does not matter who you are, they will take you down. The game is not to be a target to start with.
