If your use pesos, figure a 10-to-1 ratio, dollars to pesos. The only ATM I know of that says it will give dollars or pesos is the one in the Mexicoach depot on Rev...and it never seems to have dollars...only pesos. Typically, the menu on the ATM's will be in Spanish and English. This is a recent innovation relatively speaking. A year or so ago, almost all ATM's had instructions exclusively in Spanish.

However, all monetary units are posted on the screen in pesos, hence $50 (yes, they use the "dollar' sign for the "peso" sign) equals $5...(yep, five bucks is a big wad in MX...) $100 = 10 bucks, $300 = 30 bucks, and on up...the largest amount listed is $1500 or 150 bucks ( always divide by 10 for the approximate amount...)There is also an option to punch in a larger amount (like say, $3000, which equals 300 bucks...) if you are using a credit card.
And don't let nobody help you use the machine...this has been an ongoing scam, the card switch racket...
