I remember reading two instances that taking anyone from a bar to a hotel on revolucion may be subject to extortion by the police. When I was in TJ in Aug, I found it odd that several ladies?(I know, I Know) from Bambi/san souci did not want to walk to the hotel together. They suggested we meet at the hotel. It seems they are also subject to extortion by the police. Anyway, since I'm going to be in TJ on 14Nov, I was curious if anyone has encountered any problems recently on revoluction, day or night?
