EC and EZGAB, What would make for a good board policy? I do not want to rehash everything that has gone on in the past. But I do not like seeing a policy constructed around one person. When policy is defined so narrowly a whole lot of good things are lost in the wake. If the internet is about making discriminating choices, why can't we have a permanent set of links off this board? I would think El Chamuco's, for example, would be helpful. Others may be interested in Bajalife online or Big Doggies. It is the poster's choice-the board is not endorsing it or condemming it, just recognizing that some in this community may find it useful. I trust the poster's judgment. I think we agree on Spam. Advertising on the discussion board would be a distraction and a pain in the ass. However, I think people should be able to mention web sites in their posts. If it gratuitous commercial promotions TJHombre can deal with it. I also think posters should be able to make recommendations to TJHombre for establishing permanent links. He can decide as moderator whether it may be helpful to some in the community. Anyone else have an opinion? Nomar
