My experience with the ATM's has always been that I get a better rate than any of the money changers and it only cost me 75 or 80 cents. I use the ATM in the bus station between 6th and 7th street on Revolution and have even gotten greenbacks. This comes out handy when I am having a bad time at the sports book, but I believe they take out more extra charges when I get the dollars. In the bar like Hotel Nelson I never use pesos because they give you a 10 x 1 exchange rate as do a few other bars I frequent. Other bars use a flat 9 x 1 exchange rate (El Tiburon), so I use my pesos for this.
