Mat-just a word here. Flor is a bitter chica.She had me in tears one night at the AB bar, telling me HORRIBLE things about my fave. How she had a "marido" who didn't work,and just lived off my chica, how my chica lived in a terrible part of her hometown etc. she was only telling me this because she "hated to see guys getting taken advantage of by these putas". Meanwhile she's working me for drinks, and cigarettes, and not so veiled invitations to go upstairs. She had me going, simply because my fave(and only)has me so neurotic most of the time, that I bought what Flor was saying. (just a thought- did Flor tell you not to say anything to your Fave,she didn't want to cause "problems"?) I eventually confronted "my" chica, and she denied everything that Flor had to say. She's always been totally honest with me,even when it hurts, and any other chica would be working my obvious feelings for her for maximum money(gee,now that i think about it) but she doesn't. I love your ending, it gives hope to all us hopeless romantics in TJHombre land. Another aside- your Original took you to her room at Hotel Coahuila? I once helped my chica carry something to her room at HC when she lived there full time, and the desk guy made it seem like a big deal. Maybe things have changed, but I always thought that the chicas private rooms were off limits. I too know the feeling of seeing behind the working facade, little special touches,if it works for you,run with it.I had all this and blew it, and I hope and pray I can get it back.
