One guy I know who actually has it said they went so far as to call his work to verify his employment. They also have pulled him over twice for additional inspections - part of a spot check they do to make sure you are not taking advantage of the program. The second time he was pulled over for having an outstanding ticket that he hadn't taken care of. He said they flat out told him to get it taken care of before he used the Sentri lane again! It seems that their system tagged his car because of the ticket, and it would automatically result in an additional inspection each time he crossed the border.
