Maybe that's a good thing - the Jekyl and Hyde contrast. To me it indicates that she's not real nuts about her gig ( and, really, how many of these chicas are?) and she's also uptight when you show up indicating that she's aware that you're aware that she's a "puta". She doesn't want you to think of her that way and she becomes viscerally aware of the contrast when you show up at her "chamba" (job). All these women put on masks when they go to their "puta gigs"...so the fact that she gets jumpy when you're around the CC indicates ( from my perception) that you have a lot of influence over her "sense of self"...
