This site is rather informative about how the "Christmas Season" is celebrated in various Spanish-speaking countries. They break it down into the various countries,Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, etc...with emphasis on each countries traditions. The Dia de los Reyes Magos is rooted in Spain, so Mexicans who are more in align with Spanish tradtions may opt for this mode of celebration. Oddly, the theme music they play on the site for Mexico's Christmas is "Oh, Tannenbaum", the German ode to the "Christmas Tree"...
