I heard a report on NPR this morning regarding plans to use the Tijuana airport to service San Diego...the TJ airport is 40 yards from the Mexico-California USA border...plans include a special "tram" that will take passengers who have parked their cars on the US side over to the TJ airport, expediting the border crossing... So maybe no more "tren rojo" for me...just zoom into TJ and take a taxi to the Zona... KRICO |
