I read a recent study in England that over 75% of wemon interviewed that are HIV+ admitted to engaging in unprotected Anal sex, the easiest way to catch the Virus. Additionally 2 weeks ago it was discovered that the HIV test the Center for Disease Control use were never properly tested in third world country's. It turns out that exposure to Malaria will cause a false positive result. So published rates in places like Africa, Thailand and Malasia are completely inacurate due to most of the populations there being exposed at one time or another. The CDC's results were challenged by a independant group out of England, Australia and Thailand. They did a difforent test in a northern area of Thailand and found the HIV+ rate to be 1000 times less than reported by the CDC and they tested 2 times the number of people than the CDC did. Additionally thier argument stated that the number of full blown cases of Aids didn't nearly nearly equate to the number of HIV+ reported cases. The last note that was interesting was the number of full blown AIDS cases reported in all of Thailand were 1/8th the number of cases reported in the greater L.A. area. This is going to be a problem in Africa due to some medical funds from England and other European country's are sure to be altered. Interesting stuff in that BBC chanel... anyways
