In a previous episode, I had pointed out the fairly low risk of males contracting HIV from a Mexican bar girls, when practising reasonably safe sexual habits. While encouraging that caution should be exercised, I also stated that an occasional broken condom or BBF should not be cause for great concern. Porker seems to disagree with me as to the risk of contracting HIV from an occasional contact with gals that get checked for STDs every couple of weeks, in a country with a very low incidence of AIDS. He brought up the fact that Africa has a high incidence of hetrosexual AIDS transmission. I would like to point out that this has about as much relevance as the hetrosexual AIDS transmission rate on Uranus(butt not your anus - get "the point"?). The fact is that there must be many factors contributing to the difference in the transmission factors between Africa and non-Africa. Many believe that there is a different strain of the virus in Africa. There seems to be a link to the existance of existing STDs. Male circumcision appears to help - in some cases by a factor of 50. African sexual practices may contribute - "dry sex" thru the use of herbs, or the practice of birth control by using anal sex. Shoot, there may even be racial factors involved(as there are with sickle cell anemia).
