Hey Kendricks, Though Bruce Lee studied many philosophies I think he leaned more towards a Taoist approach then Zen...hence the title of his book was "The Tao of Jeet Kune Do". The message is clear enough though, simplify don't complicate. Another memorable thing he said was "Before I studied (Martial Arts) a punch was just a punch and a kick was just a kick, when I became a student a punch became more than a punch and a kick became more than a kick, when I understood the art a punch was just a punch and a kick was just a kick".
