Thank for the reply, Matiz. However, the one desire I have completely eradicated is the desire to live a "spiritual life". ;^)

That being said, I think that Zen actually has some valuable things to offer us (unlike western religions). I think that Bruce Lee's Jeet Kun Do approach was the most realistic - study everything, use what has value, and discard the rest. In other words, the structure is one of no defined structure. In other words, I don't care how sex has been categorized in the past in other traditions, I classify it as a need, since I would have no will to live without it (other than to exact violent revenge from those who have pissed me off over the course of my life, but I digress . . . )

I often think of the familiar Zen saying, "When you are tired, sleep; when hungry, eat." I would add to this, "when horny, fuck".

Anyway, the main point I was trying to express is that Tijuana is a beautiful oasis in a world of bullshit, but that the paradise is often fucked up (on an individual basis) for mongers who torture themselves over an inability to possess and control the chicas, instead of just enjoying them for what they are. This point has been illustrated in a number of posts lately, by a number of different posters.

A (sometimes) wise Staff Sergeant I was in Asia with would use the following analogy to snap lovestruck young jarheads back to reality: If you bought a car, and then it disappeared from your garage and you found some other guy driving it, you would be quite pissed off, and rightly so. But if you rented a car, and then returned it, it would make no sense to become angry at or jealous of some guy who rented it in the future, and you would not get mad at the car by renting itself out to others. This does not mean that you should not enjoy the rental car while it is in your possession, and that you shouldn't rent it out again when the urge hits you in the future . . .

Orale carnal,

kendricks
