hmmm, how could you LIE about being an american citizen (to get across the border) if you ARE an american citizen? as a united states citizen, you have the right to enter the united states AT ANY TIME.
however, i agree with you ahora007 (Jarocho is in a bad situation). falsely claiming citizenship is a not only a bar to naturalization,it is also a "removable" offense. meaning that he could also be placed in removal proceedings because of it.
