Quiero means either "to love" or "to want", but when used as in "I love", it is more of the friendship or family sense. For example, you could tell your mom, your dad, your sister, your aunt, your niece, or your girlfriend, "te quiero" Good friedns will also say this to each other, but usually girl-girl - I have never heard a macho mexicano say this to a male friend! "Te amo" is the "I love you" that implies serious romantic love. This is normally reserved for your wife, serious girlfriend, etc. To add to the confusion, "quiero" also means I want, as in "quiero comer" (I want to eat), "quiero un taco" (I want a taco), "quiero mamar tus chichis" (I want to suck you tits), "quiero cojer" (I want to fuck), etc. Orale carnal, kendricks
