For the girls that USED to work the 'red light' areas of LA there is a condition for thier probation. The condition is that they CAN NOT loiter in any of the 'pre-defined' areas of LA. These 'pre-defined' areas include ALL of the old hooker haunts. (Hollywood, Sunset, Van Nuys Blvd. etc) This new twist has been VERY effective in eliminating hookers from LA. The "Pretty Woman" days are over. Most of the street walkers just moved to SF, where there is a virtual moratorium on vice enforcement due to the mayor being quite interested in the trade for his personal use. (I personally have seen Willy pick up a street walker, so I know this to be fact) To back up BillyPV, STAY AWAY!!!
