They passed some new laws to stop this. I believe they went into effect on 1/1/2000(a year ago). I believe it is now a guaranteed 1 year license forfeiture to forego the field breath test. Also, I believe that it is now required that you submit to a blood or advanced breath tester at the station, or you also forfeit your license for 1 year. Fuck California DUI laws. Do NOT get mixed up in the system. These fuckers will try to get you with a BAC as low as .05! Get a breathalyzer and then you will KNOW what your BAC is. Do NOT drive with a BAC above .03.
