I just got back yesterday from an 8 day trip to GDL, flying out of TJ, so I will try to answer a few of your questions. 1:You get your tourist card at the airport after you check-in. As your walking toward the gates, there is a immigration booth and you get it there, it costs $170 pesos and is good for 180 days. Don't lose it, you'll need it when you get back into TJ cause they will ask to see it, but will let you keep and reuse it for the next 180 days. I just showed the guy my ID and he gave it to me, he asked for my birth certificate or passport as well, but I managed to talk my way out of it. I recommend you bring your passport or an original copy of your birth certificate, he may not be in such a good mood next time. 2:Don't park at the airport, there is no long term, and it's like 12 pesos an hour. Park at the border and walk in and take a cab to the airport. 3:See #2
