Hippie... You give good advice. I paid the cops off recently because I was scared. But, after being scolded for paying the cops by you I think, I now believe your advice is the way to go. I should have gone to the station to pay the fine. It could not have been the nearly $300 they got from me. The problem of planting drugs in your car is a different story though. That is scarey. I would probably pay the bribe on that one. Having a car changes the rules. A car makes you a target for the police and the other rateros. I have no respect for the police. I fear them as much as the muggers. In fact, the policia have gotten more money out of me than the muggers have.
