I also walk from the Zaragoza to the zona. I am usually alone and I do go right up Revolution to where I turn left on first street after stopping at the Nelson Bar. I do take first street to Constitution because I do get a thrill from walking it and I like a couple of street girls that work on the north side of Revolution. I have seen three muggings in front of me and I all I can say is that I try to stay very alert in this area with frequent stops and look arounds. Most likely, if I do get mugged I will take the another route - probably through the diagonal at the outdoor market. I use to carry large amounts of cash hidden in my socks and out of my wallet, but my concession to the danger is that I usually carry less than $60 (Not and Adelita or CC fan).
