Fluid getting to the exposed skin at the base of the penis, or just under the edge of the condom can carry viruses that cause warts or herpes, and theoretically could cause an infection. I don't really know how much of a skin break (if any) is necessary. Or how long the secretions need to stay on the skin (before being washed off) to cause an infection. Perhaps Shy Guy knows. The Herpes blood tests for Herpes I and Herpes II will show antibodies (Some Exposure), but not when and not where. Generally not helpful in my opinion. No test for warts as far as I know. Again, Shy Guy may have more info.
