I am looking into making air travel arrangements within Mexico, probably MEX to CZM. I was figuring that I would pick up 2 tickets on Mexicana through Expedia. I am wondering what is the procedure for identification on checking in and potential immigration checks for travel totally within Mexico by air. My companion is Colombiana and could potentially be hasseled as a not quite entirely legal alien. It's a little difficult to imagine but Mexico is increasingly becoming sensitive about immigrants from points south. All reasonable suggestions are welcome.
