Get yer own clue, dude! Spanish and Mexican are nationalities. Nobody is calling Filipinas Chinese, or Japanese, or Korean. Asian is not a nationality, it refers to inhabitants of a continent. Got a big map of the world up on my wall--'Asia' is color-coded blue--the Philippines are blue, as are China, Vietnam, Korea, but also a big chunk of the former Soviet Union, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.
