Erip, informative report as always. Thanks. I fell in love with the ambience at ML several years ago. As you say, it is a wonderful bar in which to sit and have a drink--intimate, tranquil, friendly, and modestly up-scale. The only things that have deterred me are the $100 price for an hour (I prefer the ZN option of limiting my liability for a mistake in judgment to $50 or less) and the expense of the Hotel Leon.

Maybe it's been posted before, but I can't recall anyone mentioning that ML girls will go to VZ, so this very interesting and welcome news. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised, though. I stopped in at ML one weekday night on my way from VZ to the ZN. On my return a few hours later (around 2 a.m.), I stopped to eat at Tortas Ricardos, down the street from VZ, and three of the ML ladies I had seen earlier in the evening were chowing down in a booth. They all remembered me and smiled and waived. At that time of the night, TR is probably the best (maybe the only) place for them to eat within walking distance. They seemed to be in a negotiating mood, and maybe some kind of deal could have been struck for one of them to accompany me to the VZ if I had not previously drained my battery at AB.
