If that's the attitude you really gave him or her, then it's no wonder you got talked too. Is it so hard to be nice when you cross the border at night? I've been doing it for more than 10 years and I've never been stopped for anything (except by the Mexican police, but I didn't complain and they let me go quickly). They always ask me "country of origin?" and then I move on. Is it that big a deal to stop and let them look into your little bag of goodies? Christ!....the only reason they stop people like you, is because you talk shit to them....."I yell out clothes and toiletries"....just answer the questions asked of you (calmly) and go on your way. BTW, it's not you God given right to act like an asshole at the border......if you don't like the job our guys do at the border, then stay the hell in Mexico!!!
