I once spent 10 weeks at a training class in downtown Newark, New Jersey. We all stayed at the Robert Treat hotel and very few had cars. Our lives revolved around the classroom, the few neighboring restaurants, and the hotel. Sleep. Study. Eat. Sleep. Study. Eat. Sleep. Study. Eat. The July 4th holiday occurred near the end and I got in my car and drove out into the countryside. I got a motel with a swimming pool in an area covered with green grass and trees. It was heaven being in nature after the sameness of the downtown concrete. From your description of her life and the fact that she trusts you enough to bring you back to her "casa", I think she would enjoy a brief vacation with you away from la zona. Perhaps a little trip to Rosarito or Ensenada? Regards, |
