I was born in a small town in Michoacan, and this girls story sounds legit. Customs are very old fashion, and an unmarried mother will face lots of problems. It's too bad her mom was pimping her out, that lady had some issues. Like all Mexican towns, money is hard to come by, and most of the men come here to make money. They work thier ass off for a small amount of money, but it's way better than the alternative. One of the sad things is some of the men never go back, and leave thier families for good. I hope her story has a happy ending, but I doubt it. One thing for anybody that wants to meet an authentic Mexican women. Go down there when it's harvest season here. Most of the men are here working, and the girls will outnumber you 4-1. Did she say what town she was from?
