...the same thing. A chica I know was amazed that she could rent a car here for $30 a day. In her home town the same car was over $100. But I don't have personal knowledge of renting a car in TJ. There are companies in San Diego that will rent you a car with Mexican coverage. Some don't allow their cars into Mexico, so be sure to ask. Also, it means that your chica can't drive it in Mexico UNLESS you can show her drivers license at the time you rent the car.
