I live in Colonia Castillo. It's adjacent to but not part of the Zona Norte. If you wanted to get there from Playas you'd take the Carranza exit. Carranza runs the entire length of the neighborhood about 10 blocks. As far as being a 'rich' area, 'te estaban cotorreando." There are probably a grand total of 5 to 10 nice houses but the rest of the housing is modest at best.
