My first suggestion would be to find out what the boy's interests are and go from there. Something not to heavy. You might try Harry Potter in Spanish if you can find it. Kids (and adults) love it. A video might be appropriate. "Stand By Me" is a movie about growing up and is excellent. There is a video store in San Ysidro with Spanish titles that might have it or can order it. There is an excellent kids bookstore in La Mesa called "The Yellow Book Road" and is outstanding for kids books. I bought a book for my nephew there recently who is about the same age, and the attendants were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. You might call them to see what book they recommend and where you can find it in Spanish. In any case, good luck! Celtics |
