My amiga especial has a special request - a gift for her boyfriend. After her divorce her love has focused on him. He's her 12 years-old son. He's living with her mother in a seaport city in southern Mexico. After the last time she was down there, she said that was it, she was totally through with her ex-husband and his father. The next time she goes home, it'll be his 13th birthday. He's on the verge of becoming a man. She's concerned about not having a man's influence in his life. He's growing up with his mother and grandmother. Her request is for "un libro" (a book) written in Spanish for him. Something that a man would recommend for a boy becoming a man. I've been thinking about it, and so far I've come up with nothing. I could use a little help here. Any suggestions. Regards, |
