In the opinion of many in our society (and probably mine as well) a child with a child is still a child. But having a child certainly brings adult responsibilities no matter what the chronological age. I don't know what kind of legal impact motherhood would have on any statutory rape type cases, but it the very least it may be a mitigating factor.

Another question: If someone is actually busted for statutory rape, is the victim's previous history relevant? What if she bangs a thousand guys before she turns 17 and you are the one they want to make an example of for being #1001? Do you have the right to bring that up? Should you? Just because she's promiscuous, are you any less of a 'molester' in the eyes of the law or public opinion?
