Always sit up front and if you can - habla with them in Spanish. I've gotten some good tips on new chicas in town that way. I never ask them the fare anymore but hand them a five and a one and tell them "cinco por taxi y una por propina". I used to drive a cab in NYC and always tip cabbies wherever I go. E_C_J |
