He blamed it on NAFTA? Kinda reeks of bullshit. Getting to the Mex border yesterday (Sat) at about 4 PM was indeed a nightmare, and I think the events of the day must have put the guards at the US border on edge, as I was singled out for interrogation that evening, despite my Opie Taylor countenance. Anyone else encounter static getting back into the US last night? Saw nothing about the protests in today's LA times; more of that liberal media bias, I guess...they must be too busy planning for a new journalistic hum job for the Staples Center, or whatever new deal they've got their sticky little fingers in. (BTW, did anyone catch the ruling the other day OKing even bigger media mergers--yay! the fourth estate becomes even more consolidated, and thus even less likely to present a balanced, thorough view of the news.) Curiouser and curiouser...
