A big difference between mexicans and americans is that americans get pissed when people do not speak english perfectly, while mexicans are flattered by any attempt you make to learn their language (provided you are not a latino - they are kind of brutal towards latinos that speak crappy spanish!!!) My ability to speak spanish, eat chili, drink tequila, and make dirty jokes have carried me a long way in a lot of situations with natives!!! They especially like it when you talk shit about gringos in spanish . . . that one hasn't failed me yet! Especially when you talk about how much fun mexico is, and how gringos son unos culeros miedosos que no saben disfrutar la vida . . . Kendricks
