Here's a suggestion, if you got the funding. Rent a hotel room facing the street, maybe on the second floor with a window out front. Then you can spectate to your hearts content. You can even spectate at nighttime, when it might not otherwise be safe to be on the street. Similarly, a restaurant with a seat near the window might work too. I have to admit, to me the chicas are fascinating people. I want some chance to peek into their world and see who they really are, and where they really came from, and the true reasons that they do what they do. I have rarely met American girls with the kind of maturity and grace some of these girls exhibit. This is true as well of the "non-working" girls. What were you recruiting for? I remember the great awkwardness and nervousness I felt on my first visit to the zona. Although I don't necessarily "approve" of my activities, those early days in the zona and TJ in general will always hold special memories and sensations for me.
