Caliente has a spotless reputation. Re: line moves, you'd be surprised. The locals tend to juice the favorites by laying heavy $$ on them, and to my knowledge Caliente handles all their own accion. There's value to be found if you like 'dogs, especially in games involving the Lakers, Raiders and Cowboys -- parochialism at its best. The concern I have heard from many people about gambling in Mexico is not wanting to take a large stash there for fear of being robbed on their way to and from the book, and as far as WHALES go, there is that pesky problem of getting the cash back into the country.
